Caixa de texto: This international conference, organized by the Physics Department - Federal University of Paraiba –UFPb (Brazil) and the Alexander Friedmann Laboratory for Theoretical Physics (St. Petersburg, Russia) will take place from 29 June to 5 July 2008, in João Pessoa (Brazil). Caixa de texto: Since 1988, the Alexander Friedmann International Seminar on Gravitation and Cosmology - has provided a discussion forum for leading specialists in Relativity, Gravitation and Cosmology. For the second time João Pessoa has been chosen as the venue for the conference , which reflects a strong association that the Group of Gravitation and Cosmology of the Physics Department of UFPb has with the subject. .I The objective of the meeting is to promote contacts between scientists working in the field of Relativity, Gravitation and Cosmology and related fields.
